The Tim Version is Gainesville punk (from Tampa), with better jobs and a better van! Wrap 'em up in a tortilla with Grabass Charlestons, Radon, Leatherface, Hot Water Music, Billy Reese Peters, Motorhead, country legends of old, and a hefty dose of fast, bring-the-house-down punk rock, and you've got a mighty fine burrito! This here album is uptempo, adrenalin-charged and whiskey-soaked, but some of the finest moments are also found when they step back and let the songs breathe and move. I'd say they do what they do because they don't know any better, but the singer really IS a rocket scientist. The drummer plays traditional style (read: "holds sticks weird"), and is way better than he should be, the jerk! And between them, they have an encyclopedic knowledge of music, crossing all genres.
The Tim Version это ребята из Флориды. Они успели записать уже штук 5-6 альбомов, последний из которых вышел на небеизвестном "бородатом" лейбле No Idea. Кроме него в этом же году на ADD Records был издан диск с малоизвестным, неиздававшимся ранее материалом группы. Плодотворный год, что уж сказать... Так вот, как вы знаете, на No Idea кого попало не берут. Оновными критериями отбора там является наличие бороды (хотя бы у одного из участников) и хриплый вокал. The Tim Version соответсвуют всем требованиям, кроме того еще и фолковые мотивы время от времени используют, для разнообразия, так сказать...
